2017 Mutual Theme

This sampler of the 2017 Mutual Theme, James l:  5 and 6, was stitched on 14 count white Aida cross stitch fabric with two strands of DMC floss.  It can also be stitched on 16 count Aida or 28 or 32 count linen or evenweave.  Stitch count size is 87 by 80.  Finished size on 14 count Aida cloth is 6 1/8" by 5 5/8".  Cut your cross stitch fabric to 12" by 12" to allow for fraying and framing.  

Sampler fits perfectly into a 9" by 9" premade PotteryBarn frame or can be made into a pillow.

Most of the Mutual Theme samplers are designed for beginner stitchers.  I tried again and again to make this sampler simpler without it becoming cartoon-ey and failed.  It is definately a more intermediate sampler for somewhat experienced stitchers.

2016 Mutual Theme

This sampler of the 2016 Mutual Theme has been made into a pillow.  It was stitched on 14 count white Aida cross stitch fabric with two strands of DMC Embroidery floss.  The pattern can also be stitched on 16 count Aida or linen over two threads.  Stitch size is 119 wide by 119 wide.  Finished size on 14 count Aida is 8 1/2" by 8 1/2".  Can also be framed in a 10 or 12 inch frame.  

Perfect for a Young Women's Value Project.  Takes 15 to 20 hours for the average stitcher.

2015 LDS Mutual Theme. 

Sampler stitched on 14 count Aida with one and two plies of DMC floss.  This pattern can also be stitched on 16 count Aida or 28 or 36 count linen or evenweave.  Aida is the best choice for beginning stitchers.  Stitch size is 60 wide by 95 high.  The pattern takes approximately ten hours to stitch, making a perfect Young Women's Value project. 

The finished sampler fits perfectly into a pre-made 5" by 7" standard frame.  On 14 count fabric the finished size is 4 1/4" by 6 1/2".

2014 LDS Mutual Theme

Sampler was stitched on 32 count white even weave cross stsitch fabric with two plies of DMC floss over two threads.  This pattern can also be stitched on 14 or 16 count Aida cloth.  The stitch size is 94 by 92 high.  Aida cloth is recommended for beginner stitchers.  The pattern takes about 10 hours for an intermediate stitcher to execute; making this an ideal Young Women's Value Project.

The pattern fits perfectly in a pre-made 8" by 8" frame.  On 14 count fabric the finished size is 6 3/4" by 6 3/4".  On 16 count fabric the finished size is 6" by 6". 

Notice the little black sheep on the right.  He is Christ's lamb even though he is looking away.  Christ loves all his children.

Salt Lake Temple Sampler  This sampler was stitched on 14 count Aida.  The stitch size is 108 wide by 136 high or 7 5/8" by 9 5/8".  It can also be stitched on 16 count Aida or 28 or 32 count Belfast linen or even weave.  It is easiest to stitch it on Aida.
There are no difficult specialty stitches, just cross stitches, back stitches and rice stitches.  It can be made into a pillow or will fit into a pre-made 8x10 frame.  Retail price:  $15.00 plus shipping.
